Eligibility Requirements

Step 1: Find a Host Family

Step 2: Choose a Recognized Dutch Agency
Dutch law requires that the residence permit application be submitted by a recognized sponsor (au pair agency).

Step 3: Match with a Host Family

If required for your nationality, you will collect your MVV (long-stay visa) from the Embassy or Consulate of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in your country.
Step 6: Travel to the Netherlands
After arrival:
Collect your residence permit
Register with the local municipality
Receive your BSN (Citizen Service Number)
