For the 2026 intake, Türkiye Scholarships accepts applications across a wide range of academic pathways, making it accessible to students at different stages of their education. Eligible applicants can apply for Associate Degree programs, Bachelor’s (BS) studies, Master’s programs (MS, MSc, or MA), and Doctoral (PhD) degrees at Turkish universities.

In addition to these degree programs, Türkiye Scholarships also offers Research Scholarships, Success Scholarships, and the KATİP program, which operate on separate application timelines and are announced independently through official channels.

 About the Türkiye Burslari Scholarship

Türkiye Burslari is a highly competitive scholarship initiative supported by the Turkish government. It is designed to attract exceptional students from across the globe, offering them either full-time or short-term study options at top-tier institutions in Turkey. Applications for the 2025-2026 academic year are currently open, presenting a unique chance for students to access quality  education and cultural experiences in Turkey.

Key Details of the Scholarship

This program is hosted in Turkey and supports education at various levels, including Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctorate degrees. International students from any country are eligible to apply. Each academic level comes with a specific duration of study—four to six years for undergraduate programs, two years for Master’s degrees, and four years for PhD programs. Additionally, scholarship recipients are required to complete a Turkish language course during their first year.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must meet specific criteria to qualify for this scholarship. The program is open to individuals from all nationalities who demonstrate outstanding academic achievements. Undergraduate candidates need a minimum academic score of 70%, while Master’s and PhD aspirants must have at least 75%. Those applying to programs in health  sciences, such as Medicine or Pharmacy, require a 90% minimum. Age restrictions also apply: undergraduate applicants must be under 21, Master’s applicants under 30, and PhD candidates under 35. Students already enrolled in Turkish universities are not eligible.
