The ICANN Fellowship Program provides an opportunity for people from underserved and underrepresented communities to participate in the global Internet governance community. Fellows receive mentoring, training and travel assistance to attend an ICANN Public Meeting. (ICANN)

The Fellowship is open to applicants from all regions and sectors who are interested in or already involved in areas such as:

Selected fellows receive:

📋 Fellow Responsibilities

Successful fellows are expected to:

• Participate in the Fellowship mentoring programme.

• Complete required ICANN Learn courses.

• Attend the ICANN Public Meeting and required activities.

• Network with ICANN community members and alumni.

• Complete the post-meeting survey.

• Remain engaged in the ICANN community after the programme. (ICANN)

🇹🇿 Opportunity for Tanzanians

Tanzanians can be competitive if they can demonstrate a genuine interest or experience in digital transformation, ICT, Internet access, cybersecurity, digital policy, technology, governance or Internet users' rights.

Importantly, ICANN's recent Fellowship cohorts have included applicants from African countries, including Tanzania. (ICANN)
