Scholarship Overview

Dr. Ali Parsaeimehr, Department of Biology and Microbiology at the South Dakota State University is seeking a highly motivated graduate student to join a cutting-edge research project focused on synthetic biology, metabolic engineering, and bioprocess optimization in microalgae.

 

This interdisciplinary work aims to develop scalable microalgal platforms for the production of therapeutic and nutraceutical compounds. Graduate Research Assistantship – Engineering Microalgae for High-Value Bioactive Compounds

 

Ideal candidates will have a B.S. or M.S. in Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Biotechnology, or related fields. Prior experience in molecular biology and an interest in applied biotechnology are strongly encouraged.
