Fully Funded 2025 Aston University Ferguson Scholarship in UK for Africans.
scholarships are supported by the Allan and Nesta Ferguson Charitable Trust who are dedicated to improving educational opportunities for students who would not otherwise be able to consider studying in the UK.
Who can apply?
The Ferguson Scholarships are available to students applying for one of the following postgraduate taught programmes:
- MSc Pharmaceutical Sciences
- MSc Drug Delivery
- MSc Pharmacokinetics
- MSc Stem Cells & Regenerative Medicine
- MSc Biotechnology
- MSc Psychology (Conversion programme)
- MSc Neuroscience for Drug Discovery
- MSc Addiction and Mental Health
- MSc Bioinformatics and Genomic Medicine
- MRes Neuropharmacology
- MRes Biosciences
What is the eligibility criteria?
- You must hold a conditional or unconditional offer for one of the above courses
- Be a national from India or an African country
- Hold a 2:1 degree or equivalent in a relevant subject for the course you are applying for
- Be a self-funded student. No agency referred candidates would be eligible.
If successful, note you will be required to provide evidence to the UKVI that you can fully contribute to your living costs.
How do I apply?
- Submit an application for your chosen course by selecting 'APPLY NOW' on the course web pages (select appropriate programme from list above).
- Following the above complete scholarship web form at bottom of this page before the scholarship deadline (30th June 2025).
NB: you will be asked to include your 9 digit application number beginning 25……… - The announcements for the applications for this scholarship are to be made by 31 July 2025 (midnight UK time). Please note that this is the final extended deadline for applications.
Please note we do not accept applications via agents for this scholarship.
What happens next?
The announcement of the awards will be in July 2025 via email.
